Limited Edition Giclee Print ‘Narin View’

I love painting the Narin and Portnoo area along the Wild Atlantic Way. This painting is a slightly different take of the iconic view that is so well known. I worked from my own photos taken during a beautiful November day with that gorgeous winter light giving lovely purple and lilac tones in the sky.

The painting stretches from the rocks at Carrickfad with the Derryveagh mountains in the background. The magnificent Dooey sandhill stands proud behind the Narin and Portnoo links course with the villages along the Gweebarra estuary in the background before you then look across to Clooney and Narin village. 

This place holds so many happy memories for me as it does for so many. I wanted to create a painting which would evoke those memorable moments by including as much detail as possible. It’s a painting where each time you look at it you spot something different. Whether it be happy holidays in one of the campsites, enjoying a round of golf or relaxing beach walks it’s all about those happy memories.

Giclee prints are available in two sizes as follows:

12” x 30” approx plus 1” border (same size as original painting) £90

8” x 20” approx plus 1” border (2/3rds size of original painting) £50

The Giclee prints will be limited to 50, be on excellent quality fine art paper and have museum quality archival longevity. Each print will be numbered and hand signed and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Prints will be sent out rolled in a sturdy postal tube.
