‘Love’ Original Acrylic Painting

From my Enniskillen Northern Lights Collection is this original acrylic painting ‘Love’ on a 20cm x 20cm canvas and framed in a white deep box frame ready to hang.

I have always been fascinated by the Northern Lights, I went to Lapland several years ago to see them and was overjoyed to see them here in Northern Ireland in May 2024. That display was truly amazing and I wanted to capture the magic of that once again in paint.

I took several photos around Enniskillen on a lovely bright Sunday afternoon in November 2025. It was near the golden hour so the light was stunning. For this collection of paintings I used photos I’d taken in a roughly northerly direction and I used my photos from May 2024 year as a reference for the Northern Lights colours.
